Tree Service in Seaside, Florida

Tree removal, storm cleanup and rigging over cottages in Seaside, the planned town on 30A in Walton County.

Seaside is privately owned and wrote its own zoning code, so before a tree comes down here, find out who has to approve it. Our crew is working the Emerald Coast now and works trees down in sections over cottage roofs, porches and fences. Seaside has no private front lawns, so the ground under a tree is often a planted bed, and Josh walks the yard first. Call Josh at (850) 888-5603.

Tree Service in Seaside, FL

Seaside is a privately owned, master-planned town on County Road 30A in Walton County, right on the Gulf, with Rosemary Beach about 8 miles to the southeast. It was first built in 1981 on New Urbanist principles under its own zoning code, and it has no private front lawns. Hurricane Isaias came ashore at Destin as a Category 2 storm on October 9, 2026, to the west along the same coast. Reed Tree Service is based in Tallahassee, and our crew is working the Emerald Coast now on storm removals, trees on roofs and hangers. Call Josh at (850) 888-5603 and he will tell you whether the crew can get to your Seaside address.

About Seaside & Walton County

Seaside is one of the first New Urbanist towns in the country, laid out with Duany Plater-Zyberk and built so that people walk. Because it is privately owned, it wrote its own zoning code instead of following a city's, and its homes are required to differ from one another. The town has no private front lawns and uses only native plants in its front yards, so under many trees you find planted beds rather than turf. Trees are part of the design: the Airstream Row food-truck walkway is tree-canopied, and Grayton Beach State Park and Point Washington State Forest are close by. We have not found a published Seaside rule on removing trees, so treat approval as something to ask: the property owner, the rental or management company, and Seaside's town management. Gulf exposure is the other half. Salt spray, sandy soil and open wind wear on the oaks, pines and palms, and a hurricane finds the weak ones.

Services We Provide in Seaside

In Seaside the work is storm-damaged oaks, pines and palms taken down in sections over cottage roofs, porches and fences, limbs cut off walkways and shared paths, crowns trimmed back from buildings, and stumps ground out. Our crew uses rigging lines so pieces do not drop onto the planting beds. Debris handling is quoted when you call Josh at (850) 888-5603.
