About Reed Tree Service
Locally owned. Fully equipped. Built on doing the job right.
Who We Are
Reed Tree Service is an insured tree service founded in 2016 by Josh Reed, based in Tallahassee, Florida, serving Leon County and the surrounding North Florida and South Georgia counties, with a crew working the Emerald Coast (Destin, Okaloosa and Walton counties) after Hurricane Isaias. The only phone number is (850) 888-5603.
Reed Tree Service is a locally owned and operated tree company serving Tallahassee, the Big Bend region of North Florida, and parts of South Georgia. Founded by Joshua Reed, we're a crew that takes pride in hard work and honest pricing. Some folks search for us as Reeds Tree Service or Reed's Tree Service. Same crew, same number. Our home page covers the tree service in Tallahassee we do most: tree removal, tree trimming and storm cleanup. Property managers and HOA boards can start with our guide to commercial tree service in Tallahassee.
Farther west, our Emerald Coast service areas are Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Niceville and Miramar Beach.
This isn't a side hustle or a hobby. Tree work is what Josh and the crew do. Joshua has spent over a decade climbing, cutting, and caring for trees, learning the trade from the ground up, one job at a time. That 10 years of hands-on experience is something no certification can replace, and it shows in the quality of our work.
When you call Reed Tree Service, you talk to Josh. He looks at the job, quotes it, and tells you what is extra, like cleanup, haul-off or stump grinding.
How We Work
Every job is different, but our approach never changes.
Honest Estimates
We come to your property, look at the job, and give you a fair price. No guessing over the phone, no inflated quotes. Cleanup, haul-off and stump work are quoted separately.
Safety First
Tree work is dangerous. We don't cut corners on safety. Not for us, and not for your property. Reed Tree Service LLC carries general liability insurance.
Right Equipment
We run our own crane and a Nifty-Lift boom, so the hard jobs don't wait on a rental. Stump grinding is quoted separately.
Josh Runs the Job
Josh quotes each job after he sees it and runs it himself with his own crew. Call him at (850) 888-5603 and you are talking to the person in charge of your job.
Our Equipment
Having the right tools isn't optional in this business. It's the difference between a safe, efficient job and a disaster. We've invested in the equipment the hard jobs call for, so we can handle anything from a small backyard trim to a crane removal over your roof.
- Crane for large-scale and technical removals
- Nifty-Lift boom for safe elevated access
- Skid steer for land clearing and heavy debris
- Full climbing gear and rigging equipment
