These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at https://reedtreeservice.com (the “Site”) and any tree-service work performed by Reed Tree Service LLC (“Reed Tree Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or engaging us for services, you agree to these Terms.

Use of the Website

You may browse the Site, request estimates, read our blog, and contact us without creating an account. You agree not to use the Site in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or that interferes with its operation or security.

Estimate Requests

Submitting an estimate request through this Site does not create a contract. A binding contract is formed only when we and you agree on scope and price and you sign a written or electronic service agreement.

Service Contracts

All tree-service work is governed by the service contract you sign with us — either on paper or electronically. The terms and conditions in that contract, and any attached Notice of Cancellation, control the specific engagement and take precedence over these Terms where they conflict. Key contract provisions include:

  • Work is performed in a workmanlike manner consistent with ANSI A300 tree-care standards.
  • We are fully licensed and carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance.
  • You warrant that you own the property or have the owner's permission to authorize the work.
  • You are responsible for marking private underground utilities (irrigation, invisible fence, private drains) before work begins.
  • Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Right to Cancel

When a service contract is signed at your home, Florida and Georgia law give you three business days to cancel the contract (thirty business days in Georgia for contracts over $10,000). The cancellation notice and deadline date are included on every signed contract you receive, along with a Notice of Cancellation form you can return to us.

If you signed the contract after calling or emailing us first, the statutory three-day right does not technically apply — but we honor the same cancellation window on every contract as a matter of policy.

Electronic Signatures

If you sign a contract with us electronically, your signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature under the federal ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. § 7001) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Acts of Florida (Fla. Stat. § 668.50) and Georgia (O.C.G.A. § 10-12). See our Privacy Policy for the information we collect during electronic signing.

This section does not limit any rights you have under the service contract you sign with us, which controls all in-field work.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Leon County, Florida. Disputes relating to an in-field service contract are governed by the law stated in that contract.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes take effect when posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
